Location
My internship took place at a new Sherwin-Williams located in Camas, WA. The new store was structured more for helping general retail customers, or "DIY" customers. Being that this store was in a new location, I was able to build positive relationships with new customers that ultimately increased the store's sales.

Supervisor
Dax Osborne -- Store Manager
Working as a painter before starting at Sherwin-Williams, Dax has been able to apply his vast knowledge/experience with paint while administering an extreme amount of professionalism. His background as a painter has allowed him to excel in the company, transitioning from part-timer to assistant manager within' a year, and assistant manager to manager within' another year. Growing up in Camas, WA, Dax has returned home to manage the new retail Sherwin-Williams in his second year as a store manager.

Internship Job Description
The Sherwin-Williams Internship Program was designed to provide a comprehensive view of the various operations in the Sherwin-Williams business. During the internship, you will gain practical business and retail experience working in a paint store servicing painters, contractors, and do-it-yourself customers.

The Sherwin-Williams Internship Program allows students to learn through exposure to store operations, management, and sales process. These opportunities are presented in the form of on-the-job store training, workbook activities, Sherwin-Williams University modules and various employee interactions.
